So I began my Eurotrip!
4/6/11- GIRONA
I spend the day walking the walls of the city and getting lost in the beautiful little town. Got dinner by myself and watched the FC Barca game. Barca killed them
I stayed at Hotel Europa and woke up to a great little breakfast. Crossiants, coffee, and headed to the train station to begin my journey to Barca
4/7/11 - 4/10/11 - BARCA
Day 1: Went to Parc Guell, Picasso Musuem, and Barceloneta. Parc Guell was incredible. Gaudi reminds me of Willy Wonka for some reason. Its like his imagination threw up all over the city. Wild.
Day 2: La Sagrada Familia, Ramblas, W Hotel to meet up with Steph my friend who was also in Barca! Tapas Tapas for dinner and Ice Bar after!
Day 3: Montserrat!
Really cool monastery in the mountains. I have no idea how they were able to build all that up there. It was breathtaking! Lot of hiking which turns out I really enjoy haha.
Pictures to come when I can upload them!!

AMANDAS VISIT TO ENGLAND!!!
Amanda came to visit me! She arrived on Thursday morning and like a champ I made her come to all of my classes with me in the morning. Unfortunately my last lacrosse game was the day before she game so didn't get to see my coaching in action, but got to participate in some rounders. Which for anyone who doesnt know what rounders is...its fake baseball. You can score points without even hitting the ball....
On friday night we went to London and checked into our hotel - the Thistle Euston. The hotel was really nice and in a great location. We went to Oxford Circus and had a fantastic dinner!
On Saturday morning we woke up bright and early to go see a West Ham v Man U game! It was sick. We were living Green Street Hooligans. We went as Man U supporters but left West Ham fans 1) because we couldnt buy/find and man u gear, and the whole atmosphere / culture of the west ham fans was such a fun thing to be a part of. Hammys were up 2-0 at half time, but lost 4-2! 4 goals were in penalty kicks and Rooney got a hat trick! It was really exciting being able to see him play. The game wound up getting a lot of press because rooney cursed on national television and is facing a 2 game suspension which is a big deal coming into the cup finals. After than we did some touristy things (big ben, westminster) and grabbed dinner at a pub and frolicked around.
On Sunday we woke up and took a ridiculously expensive train ride back to manchester where we stayed in a dumpy motel and went out to end the trip!
I loved having here her!!! Pictures to come :)

DUBLIN 2011
I went to Dublin 3/25 - 3/26 with a few of the boys I went to Tenerife with. Had a blast. Love being irish. We did the touristy things like St. Pats, Guinness Factory, Dublin Castle, etc etc.
I booked a flight back on Sunday night at 7:00 pm. I was having so much fun...that I decided to flip a coin to see if I should stay the night. As fate would have it, it landed on heads, and I was staying another night.
I was supposed to go to work on Monday ... but as fate would have it... it was the weekend of the time change in Europe! So, I had my excuse.
I woke up at 6 am to book it to the airport. My only restrictions were get me back by 2:40 in time for lacrosse practice.
Conversation with Ryanair / AirFrance / BMI / EasyJet information desks went something like this:
Me: I need the first flight back to anywhere in England.
Airline: 290 GBP
Me: Throw up
So on a whim I went back outside to catch a cab and told them to take me to the nearest port. As fate would have it now...there was ferry leaving back to Holyhead Wales and a DIRECT TRAIN TO SHREWSBURY leaving in 20 minutes. I bought my ferry + rail ticket combination for 32 GBP (STEAL) sat upstairs and enjoyed a croissant, and took the most beautiful ferry ride along the Welsh coast and made it back at 2:35 pm just in time for practice :)
Chalk that weekend up to an amazing time.
